Profile
For over 30 years, I have been an avid photographer and have been working as a professional for almost 20 of those.
I've been lucky enough to see both my son and daughter get married in the last few years, so I know from personal experience the excitement and apprehension in hiring a photographer for your family's special day. That's why I treat each of my clients with special care, as I want you to have a magical time, without worrying about the images being taken.
I know the details of all types of Asian weddings and can work however you want me to. Many of my clients hire me because I understand both the young and elder generations approach to a wedding day and so I have a very non-intrusive style that makes people comfortable.
I make sure that I know who the key people are on the day and that your album will be full of the shots YOU want of the people and places most important to you. I pay specific attention to getting the group shots organised and taken quickly, as well as spending time shooting the happy couple.
I love photography and when you meet me that will be very obvious. I hope that I can bring my excitement and skills to your special day and help you capture the moment forever.
Personal Bio
I'm very much a family man and have been happily married for over 30 years to my wife Farzana, who happens to be a well known Asian Bridal Beautician. We have two grown up children, both are now married. I have also recently become a grandfather. I come from a large family (I'm the eldest of 8 brothers and a sister!), with my roots in Rajasthan, India as well as Lahore & Karachi, Pakistan.
We've lived in Nottingham, UK for over 35 years now and are very active in our community arts, charity and cultural societies.
I pride myself in being very honest and down to earth.
Professional Photography Credentials
Over the years, I have had my personal photography work featured and displayed in many galleries and exhibitions, as well as winning various competitions for composition, lighting and artistic photography. My personal work is centred on landscape and wildlife photography and I regularly travel with the likes of Charlie Waite - the world greatest living landscape photographer. I have been on photographic tours to Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Norway, India and many parts of England.
Over the years, I have been affiliated with the best and most prestigious photographic organisations, including:
- RPS - Royal Photographic Society
- MPA - Master Photographers Association
- BIPP - British Institute of Professional Photography
I have also been the Program Secretary & Competition Secretary for the Nottingham & Notts Photographic Society, which has been established for over 105 years.

I keep my equipment current and use a combination of modern and traditional techniques that I have learned over the years to create the best results for my clients.
